Honeymoon time!!!! Vows have been exchanged and bags are packed, but did you remember your makeup bag? With all of the newlywed selfies you are sure to take on your travels, here are some of my tips and tricks to ensure you look fab in every photo.

Now, okay… I say makeup “bag”, but it’s really not that serious. Multi-purpose or all-in-one products are going to be your best friend here because it will limit the amount of product you are traveling with and also reduce the amount of time you are in front of the mirror with your makeup. This means more time to cuddle and celebrate being married!

Hydrated and luminous skin is in! To achieve this look, try Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20, $44. This all-in-one product provides long-wear and weightless coverage, softens fine lines and protects your skin from the sun. It is seriously magical. All you’ll need now is for it to bring you a cocktail while you lounge at the pool and it would be THE best product. Ever.

To give your skin some dimension and to add a little color to your lip, I love, love, love the Benefit Cosmetics Benetint Cheek and Lip Stain, $30. This rose-tinted stain is kiss-proof, long-wearing and adds just enough color to create a naturally flushed look. How is this not the perfect product for a newlywed on the go?! A little goes a long way so I suggest first using the applicator to apply a small amount of product onto the apples of your cheeks and then blend promptly with your fingers. As with most long-wear products, the drying time is pretty quick so I always recommend blending one application before moving on to the next. Layer until you achieve the desired level of intensity. For the lip, I prefer to first hydrate with MAC Lip Conditioner ,$15, and then blot away any excess before applying the stain.

Last but certainly not least, I love a great mascara that I don’t have to worry about smudging or wearing off while I travel. In my professional career I have tried and tested many, many, MANY mascaras and my all-time favorite is one you can grab right at the grocery store. Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara. I actually remember as a child this being in my mom’s makeup drawer; it has been around for a very long time (sorry mom!). This mascara, in my personal experience, although waterproof does NOT compromise your natural lashes; meaning, when you go to remove your makeup and wash your face at the end of the night, your natural lashes aren’t being washed down too.
