Apps To Keep You Organized

Everyone always seems to be busy. This is generally the norm, and no matter what aspects of life you may be currently trying to balance, the goal is not necessarily to slow down, but to organize our hectic lives so that we can enjoy them. Here are 5 smartphone apps that you can easily download and use to make your life more simple and organized!

{1} Key Ring: Never miss out on those store perks again! This app allows you to hold information from all of your different store cards in one place. Whenever you are out, all you need to do is scan your phone instead of searching your completely full key ring or wallet for a mini plastic card.

{2} FullContact Card Reader: For those in the business world, you know networking never stops. This innovative app will help by allowing you to scan each business card you get, and add the contact info directly into your mobile address book and Google contacts.

{3} Remember The Milk: A To Do list you always have with you. Remember the Milk will help you prioritize your tasks, as well as alert you when you are located near a place you need to complete one of your tasks. For example, if you are out running to the post office, you will get a reminder that you are near a grocery store and need to pick up bread (or milk!)

DIY Live | Holiday Crafting at St. John Fisher

We visited St. John Fisher College last week for a DIY Live Event!

If you haven’t hear about our awesome crafting event, DIY Live, here’s a sneak peek: Designer & Pinterest expert, Pauleen Vacca, shares an interactive crafting event experience of “how to & you do” with projects inspired by the ever popular social media platform!  This stress free crafting event has been a huge hit with colleges across Upstate New York, from Buffalo to Rochester to Syracuse.  Students will choose from a variety of crafts to create and be able to bring home their creation!  Additionally, the DIY Live team will be “live pinning” students and their projects during the crafting event.  Students can see these pins on the big screen, and even live pin themselves during the event!  For more visit our DIY Live page.

All of the students at Fisher were amazing crafters, and even took some of the projects into their own unique designs!  The crafts we taught here all holiday themed and perfect for decorating or gifting. Now, we want to share these with you!

Summer Intern | Chelsey

Chelsey has been interning with Pauleenanne Design since May. We loved working with her and miss her already.  Best of luck in college and your future career!  Here are some interesting facts about Chelsey:

{1} What college do you attend?  I just finished my freshman year at Ohio University where I’m majoring in Restaurant, Hotel, & Tourism.

{2} What are your thoughts about event planning? I’ve always thought of event planning as glamorous and excited, and that just makes me want to be a part of the planning for extraordinary events.

{3} What event planning experience have you encountered?  Pauleenanne Design is my first opportunity to really be a part of planning events and so far I have absolutely loved it!

{4} What do you enjoy most at Pauleenanne Design?  I personally love working on the DIY “crafty” items for upcoming events.  

 {5} What would be your dream event to plan? My dream event to plan would have to be an over-the-top beach wedding on an exotic island.

 {6} Who is your industry idol? My industry idol would have to be Preston Bailey. His events are luxurious and outrageous.

{7} Where do you see yourself five years from now? Five years from now I would like to be graduated from college and working for an event planner in Las Vegas.  

{8} What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and taking vacations.

 {9} What are your favorite things to do in Rochester? My favorite things to do in Rochester are to shop and eat out at different restaurants.

 {10} Tell us a random fact about you. My biggest fear is cats. This is sad, but true.
