We want to introduce our new employee, who is working in graphic design, to you: Michelle Bowen! Below are some questions and answers to help you get to know Michelle a little better.
Name: Michelle Bowen
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design & Visual Studies from The College at Brockport, and currently obtaining my Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing from Nazareth College.
Tell us about your experience before Pauleenanne Design?: I have over 3 years experience in Graphic Design and Marketing, including working for both small design agencies and corporate advertising firms. I have created logos, business cards, flyers, and print materials of all kinds, websites, email marketing, and social media content. I have extensive customer service skills and love working with people.
What are you most excited about your new position?: I am excited about being a part of the event planning industry and all the creativity that comes with it. I am also excited to put to use my marketing skills to help this business and our clients’ businesses grow.
What would be your dream project or client?: A corporate company who wants the whole package from us. They want their branding and marketing done, as well as their company events managed and we work with them from start to finish on all event and marketing needs.
Are you inspired by anyone in the industry?: I find inspiration in many people and businesses in the marketing and design industry. There isn’t anyone in particular right now, but I’m always searching for new inspiration.
What is your favorite quote?: “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.” – Maya Angelou
What are three items you need on your desk?: My to-do list, my favorite coffee mug, and my chocolate covered almonds.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?: Be better at baking. It takes a lot of time to perfect recipes and the art of baking. I always wish I had more time to invest into it.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?: Snuggling up with my puppy.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.: I have a tiny tattoo of a cupcake on my wrist because I decided when I was 22 that I’m going to own a bakery someday.
