Summer Reads

With all that extra free time this summer, check out some of our staff’s favorite books! Catch some rays while diving into these great books.

{1} Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult: A book that slowly unfolds as you keep flipping pages, a book you won’t want to put down! Personally picked by one of our interns, Brittany!

{2} Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins: The plot is very detailed when discussing post-apocalyptic society and still has a great story line. Great to read then watch the movie! Must be good if Pauleen chose it as her favorite!

{3} Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling: This series is addicting, but don’t forget to check out Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows, one of our staff picks by Amanda!

{4} The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks: A great romantic book with different aspects of good storytelling. A great book for young adults, chosen by one of our great interns, Emily!

{5} Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn: If you loved the movie, or haven’t seen it yet, this book is a must! It will keep your mind working and is entertaining too.  Casey, one of our interns, couldn’t put this one down!

{6} Favorite Author: Jill Shalvis: Her books are easy to enjoy, but not easy to put down! Noelle loves this author because these books give her an escape and a way to relax.

{7} The Last Song: Nicholas Sparks: In this story, the main character goes to spend the summer with her father at his beach house in North Carolina. It is filled with a lot of adventures, both happy and sad. It is the perfect book to read on the beach, says our intern Amanda!
